The National Venture Capital Association is no stranger in the courtroom. Standing in opposition in a lawsuit against the US government, the NVCA is in a fight over the new immigrations program. The law of “International Entrepreneur Rule” enables foreign business founders to continue to reside in the US, if they have sustained a profitable, job creating company for up to 5 years.
Under the Trump Administration, this law has been pushed back for signage until March 2018, and there is speculations that the rule may be abandoned all together. The speculation of nulling the rule was attributed to the idea that it would absorb any current resources required for ongoing and present initiatives.
